A Darlington martial arts expert has become a British champion for the third time.
Craig Shaw, 19, lifted the World Muay Thai Council's British title in the 63.5kg weight category at a bout in Carlisle.
The Darlington man beat local favourite Alan Reed in a keenly contested fight in front of a large crowd.
Craig is a member of the Darlington Boxing and Martial Arts Academy. Trainer Paul Hamilton said he was impressed by his performance.
He said: "Craig won every round quite easily and now he's going to fight for the European title, hopefully in a couple of months."
The victory means Craig is now ranked number one at his weight in Europe and number seven in the World.
It is the third time he has won a British title, each at a different weight.
His trainer added: "He's doing all right for a 19-year-old lad."
Later on in the year, Craig will be representing the club at a competition in Bangkok, Thailand.
