THREE men are in hospital with jaw injuries after separate incidents in Hartlepool at the weekend.
At 8.20pm, on Saturday, the occupant of a house in Falmouth Grove rang police to complain he had been assaulted. He was taken to Hartlepool General Hospital and later transferred to Middlesbrough General Hospital with a broken jaw.
At 8.30pm on the same night, an ambulance was called to Borrowdale Street after reports that a man had been beaten with a blunt instrument.
He was also taken to Hartlepool General Hospital and transferred to Middlesbrough General Hospital to have his broken jaw wired and head injuries stitched.
On Sunday, at 11.40pm, a man was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital with a fractured jaw after an alleged assault at the 42nd Street nightclub, in Hartlepool
