POLICE have seized more than £90,000 worth of drugs during two raids in the Billingham area.
Officers taking part in Operation X-Ray searched a house and vehicle and found 3kg of amphetamine and 5kg of skunk cannabis, worth £50,000.
Three local men were arrested following the raid at 6.05am on Wednesday.
Further searches were mounted early yesterday, resulting in the seizure of 2kg of amphetamine and 5kg of cannabis resin, worth £40,000.
Officers from Stockton Drugs Unit, Cleveland Police Organised Crime Unit and Hartlepool Specialist District Support Unit, took part in the operation.
A police spokeswoman said last night: "This is the latest success resulting in a large recovery of controlled drugs, and we will continue to target those who supply large quantities of drugs.
"We know who these dealers are and will continue to gather evidence to put them before the courts."
Two men, aged 31 and 22, have been charged with supplying drugs. A 20-year-old man has been released without charge.
