ADULTS with learning difficulties are preparing for the curtain to go up on their show.
Earthbeat is a drama company based at the Skelton Social Skills Centre, in east Cleveland.
A Comedy of Horrors is the group's tenth anniversary production and is showing at Middlesbrough Theatre next week.
The show includes four short stories - Curse of the Mummy, At Home With The Addams Family, Wicked Witchcraft and Voodoo Woman. Songs include Michael Jackson's Thriller, Green Door, Witchcraft, Fever and Magic Moments.
Producer Jan Towers, one of the instructors at the centre, has been organising rehearsals for 18 months.
"We've got a cast of 28 extremely talented and experienced performers who promise to entertain in a way you'll find hard to forget.
"It's our most ambitious show, and we're confident it's going to be our best ever. It's very funny and lively and also quite touching in parts. You won't know whether to laugh or cry - and might even do both."
Performances take place next Tuesday and Wednesday at 7pm. Tickets cost £3 and are available from the box office on (01642) 815181.
