TEACHERS have been gearing up for a one-off performance of their own version of The Full Monty.
Four members of staff at Hummersknott School and Language College in Darlngton will be performing at the school's cabaret evening.
The night of entertainment has been arranged to celebrate the school becoming a language college and to mark European Year of Language.
The four teachers will start off in foreign clothes. Dave Bell will be a matador, Nick Merryfield a Frenchman, Moray Beachill a German and John Todd a Mexican - and they have called their act Di Volle Monty.
The exact nature of the routine is being kept a closely guarded secret, but the school has promised it will be suitable for a family audience.
The show is this Thursday at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £6, are available from the school by phoning (01325) 241191.
The school is running eight-week holiday standard language courses for the public.
German and Spanish courses start on Monday, April 23, French and Italian start the following day and a Japanese course begins on the Wednesday.
All courses cost £25 and run from 6.30pm to 8pm, except Italian which runs from 5.30pm to 7pm.
