Darlington fans will be suffering a sense of deja vu when they travel to Kidderminster today.
Quakers' last visit to the Worcestershire club was in May 1990 in their penultimate game of their Conference winning season - but now the Conference is beckoning again unless Quakers can regain some winning form.
Quakers can't afford to lose, as the gap between them and the relegation trapdoor narrowed to three points on Tuesday following their 2-0 defeat at York and Carlisle's victory over Leyton Orient, which left Halifax in bottom spot.
Quakers still have to travel to Halifax, as well as fellow strugglers Torquay and Exeter, and are likely to need at least ten points to avoid becoming the first club to be relegated to the Conference twice.
Manager Gary Bennett is demanding more from his players after he accused them of lacking heart in the defeat at York in midweek.
"We have to pick ourselves up from Tuesday night because this is an important game again," he said.
"I was angry after the match on Tuesday but I feel that the only thing missing is that the players must be prepared to die in both penalty areas.
"York manager Terry Dolan felt his side was lucky to win because we had a lot of pressure in the second half.
"Overall, I don't think the performance was as bad as we made it out to be. Extra belief and extra commitment can make all the difference.
"The players must take on more responsibility - they must be prepared to attack the ball when it is bouncing around the opposition's penalty area."
Quakers could be bottom tonight if results go against them.
Kidderminster were promoted from the Conference last season and won 2-1 at Feethams in October, but they have failed to win any of their last five games.
They drew with Scunthorpe on Tuesday night, with manager Jan Molby declaring his side were feeling 'tired'. Molby was yesterday charged with bringing the game into disrepute for comments made to the fourth official in Kidderminster's game against Cardiff last month.
Bennett, meanwhile, could be signing at least one player before the transfer deadline next Thursday.
Football director Luke Raine said: "We're confident about bringing a central defender into the club next week. He's coming in to have talks on Monday and we've had some very good reports about him. We're also searching for a keeper because we've only got one of our own - Peter Keen is just on loan for the time being.
