Redcar lifeboat crew is on the lookout for recruits.
To be a member of the crew, people need to be aged between 17 and 40, physically fit, and live and work within ten minutes of the lifeboat station, on The Esplanade, Redcar.
But the Royal National Lifeboat Institution said that most importantly, volunteers had to be willing to give 100 per cent commitment to saving lives at sea.
There will be an information meeting for those interested in being a lifeboat crew member at the lifeboat station, at 7pm, on Thursday, April 5.
