AN unusual dance troupe is presenting a show at Tall Trees, in Yarm, Teesside, on Saturday.
The Navrang Arts Folk Dance Group is made up of young people from throughout the region interested in Asian and ethnic dancing.
The group was set up by Daksha Asher when she moved to the North-East from her native Bombay.
She said: "When I came here I realised there was a need for children to have cultural awareness, and there was no where else they could learn Asian dance."
Ms Asher teaches youngsters a variety of traditional steps, helped by her 13-year-old daughter Nakita.
Children from Teesside, Darlington, Gateshead and Newcastle will be taking part in the show on Saturday.
It will be attended by the Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Pete Andrew.
