A dance night will be held in Chester-le-Street to raise money to help victims of a rare disease called diamond blackfan anaemia.
The condition affects bone marrow and only 50 people in country suffer from it - including a child in Chester-le-Street.
The 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s night will be at the Red Lion, on Friday, April 6, from 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £3, are available from June on (07790) 808720
