A young mother was caught with 12 wraps of cannabis resin stuffed down her bra when police raided her home.
Officers also found cannabis hidden in various parts of Dawn Peters' home during the raid, on September 27 last year.
The 23-year-old mother-of-one told police she was going to use the drugs herself.
But, on the first day of her trial at Newcastle Crown Court, Tom Moran, prosecuting, said: "The quanitity of cannabis found, in total, was too much one could realistically say was for one person's use."
Ms Peters, of Ashgrove Avenue, South Shields, denies possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply.
The case continues.
