Year seven had the opportunity to enjoy More Grimms Tales at the Newcastle Playhouse, and enjoy it they did - a large busload of them.
Not to be left out, year eight had live theatre come to them. A new production of the Jungle Book was performed by Teesside Tertiary College students in our school hall.
The play was innovative, exciting and appreciated by the whole year group, who had plenty of questions for the actors after the show.
A group of pupils have also been to Sunderland to see the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of The Tempest.
This was a great chance to see a major company on its national tour.
Looking forward to July, we are going to see A Midsummer Night's Dream at Barnard Castle.
We say: "Lets have more and more real, live theatre".
