YOUNG people who want to make new friends in the Teesside area are being urged to consider the Rotaract club.
The club is affiliated to the Rotary Club and is open to anyone aged between 18 to 30 who is interested in meeting new people, joining in social activities, while at the same time helping good causes.
Melanie Dennis, club president, said: "From past experience, Rotaract has appealed to many people who have recently moved to the area, perhaps with a new job, or have returned from studies to find their old friends have moved on."
The club has been running for the past 14 years and at its peak had more than 30 members. However, numbers have started to dwindle. and as a result the club is on the look out for new recruits.
Anyone interested can attend two meetings on Tuesday April 3, and Thursday April 26 at Yates Wine Lodge, Middlesbrough, at 8pm. For further details, call Mel on (01642) 875336.
