OWNERS of old and interesting properties in Darlington and the surrounding area are being sought to sign up to this year's Heritage Open Days event.
The event is promoted annually by the Civic Trust and Darlington Borough Council.
Its aim is to allow the public free access to buildings and sites of historical, social or architectural interest, which would not normally be open.
Anyone taking part can choose to open at any time from September 7 to 10.
Previous attractions have included the Manor Farmhouse at Brafferton, Mowden Hall, Polam Hall School and the Darlington Railway Centre and Museum.
It is hoped to repeat the vintage vehicle tours which carry visitors.
