A logo competition has attracted so many good entries that the judges are going to award more prizes.
More than 500 designs have been submitted for the competition run by Sunderland City Council's education and community services department.
Youngsters were asked to think of a name and logo for the city's study support scheme, in which youngsters volunteer for lessons outside school time.
The top prize is a computer donated by Sunderland University whose staff have chosen a winner - to be announced on Monday, April 2 - and 12 other prizes have come from other sources.
The university is offering more smaller prizes for entries that were highly commended.
Karen Routledge, the council's study support co-ordinator, said: "We have been delighted by the quality of the designs.
"Many pupils had put a great deal of time and effort into their applications. It has been a difficult choice for the judges."
