THOSE with a love of history are being encouraged to come along to a meeting in Richmond next week.
As many as 60 like-minded people will be there, all of them among the "manners" who staff the Richmondshire Museum during the tourist season every year.
One issue up for discussion is a change of name - with Ryders Wynd losing its "manners" in favour of "volunteers".
But the prime objective is to find more recruits - and all are welcome from 7.30pm next Wednesday.
The meeting will also include a new video of Richmond's history in the 1950s and 1960s
