A MUSEUM has been transformed with a riot of colour during an exhibition celebrating a traditional craft that is still going strong.
A Kaleidoscope of Stitchcraft opens the new season at Malton Museum, on Easter Saturday, April 14.
The museum is already the permanent home to a millennium quilt created by the Malton Country Quilters, depicting the history of the area.
This season, it is being complemented by a wide range of their other work including embroidery, quilting, patchwork and other sewing crafts.
Chairman Beryl Featherstone said: "We had a smaller exhibition of our work in the museum last year and that was a success. But we were delighted to be asked back for a much bigger show like this one."
The exhibition will continue until October.
