HEALTH care staff from across the Teesside Health Action Zone shared their skills and knowledge yesterday.

More than 300 staff took part in the Hands on Health forum in Eaglescliffe, involving local authority employees, volunteers, the health service and other organisations.

Tees Health Authority chief executive Mike Farrar said: "Hands on Health offered staff and everyone involved with health issues across Teesside the chance to look at the wide range of activities and work going on with the Health Action Zone."

During the event pupils were presented with awards for taking part in the Validate Proof of Age scheme, aimed at reducing the sale of prohibited goods to those under age.
