A LIBRARY is ready to open an extra three hours a week after more flexible working arrangements were agreed.
From Monday, Northallerton library will open at 9.30am, instead of 10am, each day.
The local group libarian, Rosemary Bullimore, said: "We are able to make the change within our existing resources because the staff are willing to alter their working days. They know how keen many library users are to come in earlier, but they also hope the 9.30am start will allow others who can't presently use the library to come in."
The closing times will remain the same - 7.30pm on Monday, Wed-nesday and Friday; 5pm on Tuesday, and 1pm on Saturday
