A FIRM is getting back to its educational roots to add to the sporting prowess of its local school.
Feed suppliers I'Ansons has been based in Masham for more than a century, and four generations of the family have attended the local Church of England primary school.
One of them, sales director Sarah Banks, returned to the school to present the netball team with a new set of kit.
"It as like taking a trip down memory lane," she said later. "The I'Anson children have always attended Masham primary, and we all have fond recollections of the time we spent there.
"Tradition is very important to us, both as a family and as a business, and we are very proud of our roots in Masham.
"We were very happy to be able to put something back into the community where we all grew up."
The school's netball team coach, Helen Lee, said: "The support from I'Ansons has given the team a real boost, and all of the children are proud of their new kit.
"We are hoping that the new look will put the team back on a winning streak."
