A PARISH council and local residents are protesting over plans to build two homes on open land on the fringe of Masham, near Ripon.
Masham Parish Council are objecting about lack of parking in the area near the planned development site, at Rodney Terrace.
The application for outline development has been made by Dacre Son and Hartley on behalf of the Diocese of Ripon and Leeds Board of Finance. The proposal seeks permission for two homes on land to the south of Rodney Terrace, opposite the vicarage.
The scheme will go before a meeting of Harrogate Borough Council, at Pateley Bridge, on Tuesday. It is recommended for approval.
