TAXI firms and pubs will do battle in a five-a-side football tournament to raise money in memory of a cot death victim.
Benson Gillham, was 13 weeks old when he died at his home in Stanley, near Crook, on March 6.
His mother Catherine, 24, has been raising money for research into cot death syndrome.
The five-a-side tournament, the first in a series of fundraising events, is being held at the Spectrum Leisure Centre, Willington, on April 11, at 6pm.
Eight taxi firms from the Bishop Auckland area have agreed to play, and pubs have signed up.
As well as the football there will be a marathon darts tournament at the Black Horse Pub, Willington, on April 9.
