ONE of the smallest primary schools in Teesside has been praised by Ofsted inspectors.
The 87 children in Wilton Primary School's three classes receive "good quality teaching" and "make very good progress".
The report also said: "Children's achievements when they leave school at 11 are very good. The school successfully extends pupils' horizons to appreciate other cultures and the wider world."
The school, in Lazenby, was praised for pupils "very good" progress at both key stages. And its support for pupils with special educational needs. A plan is being carried out, to include the provision of an outdoor play area
