TWO firms of financial advisors have merged in Darlington.
BIB (Darlington) will be further strengthened by the merger with Kent Finance.
All staff from Kent Finance, including Nigel Kent and Kevin McKeown, have made the move from Coniscliffe Road to BIB, in Northgate. However, the name of Kent Finance, which was set up 26 years ago, is being retained.
It offers finance facilities for the acquisition of capital assets by businesses, professionals, industry and local authorities.
Nigel Kent said: "BIB is one of the region's most respected firms and I am looking forward to working closely with them.
"This is the first joining of independent firms of insurance and finance brokers that I am aware of and it is a positive move for both."
Martin Littleton, managing director of BIB (Darlington) said: "This is an important move for BIB and one which will strengthen our team and add further depth to the services and skills we offer our clients."
