THE history behind the home of a North-East PR company will be revealed on television today.
Robson Brown, the advertising, PR and design agency, has an office in Clavering House, near Forth Banks, in Newcastle.
The building will be the subject of a half hour episode of Channel 4's Revealing Secrets, shown at 3.30pm.
It will look at a batch of 19th Century letters, which shed light on the eventful history of the wealthy Claverings.
They cover the family's life in Clavering House, and time spent in Paris during the French Revolution.
Karen Wake, account executive at Robson Brown, helped with research for the programme after she was approached by the production company.
She said: "A researcher from MultiMedia Arts was following up some letters which had been found in a piece of antique furniture.
"They approached the agency to ask if we knew anything about the history of the former Clavering family home."
