YOUNGSTERS at a North-East school got to meet one of their footballing heroes yesterday.
Middlesbrough defender Ugo Ehiogu visited Hurworth House School, Hurworth, near Darlington, to accept a cheque on behalf of Comic Relief.
Pupils at the private school raised £800 for Comic Relief after organising a cake stall and a sponsored silence.
Hurworth House teacher Linda Martlew said: "Considering there are 167 pupils at the school, we are pleased to have raised so much money."
Presenting the Boro star are, left to right, David Beecroft, Daniel Jackson and Ross Williams.
