A Paralympics gold medallist has been setting youngsters on the starting blocks to success.
Kenny Churchill, of Middlesbrough, was the guest of honour at Future Steps' Go For It special needs careers event, at Durham University's Stockton campus this week.
He spoke to 400 children, from Teesside schools, who were there to receive guidance for the future.
The event combined practical workshops with an exhibition geared towards special needs youngsters, their parents and carers.
Subjects covered ranged from computer studies to hair and beauty, with equipment from many organisations.
