SIX people have been arrested in Hartlepool for alleged drugs offences.
A woman arrested in Kinbrace Road, at 3.15pm, on Friday, was allegedly carrying a Class A drug in a Peugeot car, and was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Following that arrest, a search warrant was executed at a house in Monarch Road, Hartlepool, and three men were arrested.
Cash and drugs were taken from the house.
A further male was arrested after another search in the town, and drugs with a street value of £2,000 were recovered.
All five have been released on police bail while the substances are analysed.
In an unconnected incident, later on Friday night, a man from Peterlee was detained at the Wesley nightclub, in Hartlepool.
The man was stopped by the club bouncers at 11.35pm, and was found to be in possession of a bag containing tablets.
He was arrested and the tablets have been sent away for analysis.
