POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the tyres on three vehicles were slashed at Sunnybrow, near Crook.
The two cars and a van were parked in South Street overnight on Friday night when they were attacked.
All four tyres on a Peugeot 309 car were destroyed, plus two tyres on a Cavalier and two tyres on a white van.
The van and the Cavalier are owned by the same person.
Sergeant Kieran Reed, of Crook police, said: "We want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious between Friday and Saturday, or who knows why these particular cars were targeted."
