ANDREW MOLLITT is a maths teacher with a difference.
No stereotypical tweed jacket with elbow patches; no dull obsession with equations.
Instead, after school, you are likely to find him on a uni-cycle, teaching Richmond Lower School children the thrill of riding on one wheel.
And, with so much interest in his classes, there are moves to expand into other circus skills including juggling and plate-spinning.
"I started the club hoping to get about 20 students involved, and now there are more than 50 each week. In all, since the start of the year, up to 80 youngsters have taken part," said Mr Mollitt.
The club also owes some of its success to a £400 grant from the trustees, which helped cover the cost of three unicycles.
However, some of the children are so enthusiastic they've even bought their own.
