A FILM made by young people was premiered at the weekend as part of the final celebrations of an arts festival.
A series of art workshops have been running at South Bank Youth and Community Centre, near Middlesbrough, for the past six months.
Young people have taken part in dance, drama, sculpture and painting sessions, as well as learning how to make their own films.
One of the films made by the youngsters was shown on Saturday to a group of residents and parents as part of the Big Day celebrations to mark the end of the Gen 4 festival workshops.
A range of activities with a movie theme were on offer before the premiere, including henna tattoos, lighting workshops and T-shirt printing.
Festival coordinator Paul Hyde said: "As the Gen festivals have been running for four years now we have a great input from the young people in planning the festival.
"While some workshops are back through popular demand, we try to introduce new ideas and new workshop leaders."
