YOUNGSTERS are being promised a bumper programme of activities during their Easter school holidays.
Hartlepool Borough Council play schemes, for children aged five to 11, will run from Tuesday, April 17 to Friday, April 20, at five venues.
These are Friarage Youth Centre, Greatham Community Centre, Mill House Leisure Centre, Rossmere Youth Centre and West View project, in Miers Avenue.
Parents must register their children at one of the five venues next Wednesday, from 9am to 1pm.
A council spokesman said: "We have a limit of 40 children at each play scheme venue, and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
"We have an excellent programme of activities, which includes the Hancock Museum, in Newcastle, trips to the cinema, the Historic Quay, sporting events and arts and crafts."
The play schemes are held each day from 9.30am to 4pm. The cost is £2.50.
