A RESIDENTS' panel set up by Darlington Borough Council for tenants to air their grievances could expand.
The panel, which acts as an umbrella group for the town's residents' associations, is to hold a meeting to consider changing its constitution.
The proposed revision aims to open the panel to other groups, such as housing association tenants and those in private rented housing.
A number of owner occupiers, who have bought their home from the council, sit on the panel.
It was set up seven years ago with the aim of providing a forum to discuss tenants' problems, including repairs and the anti-social behaviour of neighbours.
An extraordinary meeting of the panel will take place at the Wesley Court Community Centre, off Yarm Road, on April 18, at 6.30pm.
