CIU League - In an early top of the table clash in the darts section, Crook Belle Vue retained their unbeaten record when they beat the visiting Stanhope by two points and now lead the table by six points from their visitors.
The Crook dominoes team are also in top spot in their section with a three points lead over the Victoria Club.
Oakenshaw lead the pool section by two points with Stanhope and Crook Belle Vue sharing the second place.
There were darts maximums for Jeff Sneath of Crook Belle Vue, Bobby Usher of Crowtrees, Kevin Whitehead of Newfield and three from Cockton Hill players. They were Ray Scott, John Comerford and Kevin Spensley.

Tow Law Bass Cup
Billy Row Club entertained Sunniside Comedian in the Final and came through to win by four points, following their narrow victories in both sections.
In the darts section the Club took the first five singles points through Jeff Sneath, John Ward, George Dodds, John Heathcote and Bob Slater with John Smythe saving the whitewash. The Comedian redeemed themselves by taking the last two doubles points. Best Individual scores were George Dodds with 140 for the Club and John Smythe with 140 for the Comedian.
In the dominoes the Comedian only succeeded in taking two of the singles through Robert Wilkinson and John Smythe, while the Club went ahead through Lenny Thompson, Harold Parvin, Fred Cockburn and John Ward. The Comedian again took two of the doubles.
Willington Ladies League
Willington Club's home double victory over Willington Cottles put them in very strong positions in both the darts and dominoes sections. At darts they closed the gap on the leaders, Prospect Club to only five points with a match in hand.
At dominoes Willington Club lead the table by ten points while the second place is shared between Willington Market, Hunwick Quarry Burn A and Willington Black Horse A.
