MOTORISTS are being warned to expect disruptions on Thursday as a massive loader passes through the region, on its way to the Cleveland Potash Mine in Boulby, east Cleveland.
The low loader is carrying a giant belt filter measuring 25m long by 4.2m wide and 3.3m high and weighs 46.5 tonnes. It will be used in the extraction of potash from the mined ore.
The vehicle will be accompanied by a police escort and will travel to Middlesbrough via the A1 and the A19 and from there it will take the A171, along the Guisborough by-pass, left on to the B1266 and then left again on to the A174 to Boulby
