A MOTORCYCLIST will stand trial today accused of causing the death of a school caretaker by driving dangerously.
Hartlepool father-of-two Kevin Lynn, 42, died in an accident on the mountain section of the Isle of Man TT racecourse, last June 2.
Fellow biker Seamus Greaney will appear in court on the Isle of Man charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Mr Greaney, 31, from County Limerick, in the Republic of Ireland, has denied the charge.
Mr Lynn was in a head-on collision which threw him over a bank on the TT course at the stretch between the Creg-ny-Baa and Brandish Corner sections.
He had been in the Isle of Man for a three-day holiday before the accident.
Mr Lynn, who worked at Throston School, had raced at top biking circuits including Donnington and was a former 250cc and 350cc motor bike production champion road racer.
