THE region's very own line-dancing superstar has been sharing some of her secrets with youngsters in North Yorkshire.
World champion Rachael McEnaney was the first European to beat the Americans at their own game when she took the title earlier this year.
And the 19-year-old travelled to Malton Secondary School to give a demonstration and put youngsters through their paces.
Rachael, from Stamford Bridge and a former pupil at York Sixth Form College, competed in the world championships in Canada back in January - but had to wait to the following month to be crowned.
Judges ruled her solo piece had been too long and originally placed her second, but, after she contested the decision, they changed their mind and the organiser flew to Britain to present her with the trophy.
She has now set up her own company and teaches classes at Huntington Working Men's Club on Mondays and Wednesdays
