A programme of wildlife events will start at Castle Eden Dene National Nature Reserve, near Peterlee, County Durham, on Easter Monday.
English Nature warden Shaun Gooch will lead a walk among the primroses and wood anemones. The event will start at 10.30am and will include an Easter treasure trail for children.
There will also be a dawn chorus walk on Saturday, April 21, which will finish with breakfast in the lodge.
Booking is essential because of the popularity of these events.
