A NEWLY-established firm is aiming to make family law more accessible to the people of East Cleveland.
Cygnet Family Law, based in Redcar, will work in partnership with the Legal Services Commission and the Community Legal Service.
Mr Peter Medd, who has set up the firm, said: "We aim to make people feel at ease when seeking legal advice and help calm the anxieties people have when dealing with family matters.
"Because members of the legal teamare focusing solely on family law, they are able to keep abreast of changes and developments in the law on a day-to-day basis.'
Beach clean-up in time for Easter
CLEVELAND beaches have been getting a chainsaw tidy-up in time for the Easter.
Teams from Nacro and Redcar and Cleveland council's own workforce have been clearing debris - including large logs - off the beaches at Marske, Saltburn and Redcar.
Work has also started on revamping the toilet block at Saltburn pier and providing a permanent base for lifeguards.
The project is costing £80,000 in a funding package with Europe and the council.
