Darlington have virtually assured their Third Division future with a convincing win over promotion chasing Cardiff at Feethams.
The Quakers have now lost just once in their last 12 outings and first-half strikes form John Williams and Glenn Naylor ensured the revival continued.
Williams opened the scoring after 11 minutes with a first-class finish on the edge of the box, giving keeper Carl Muggleton no chance.
The home side side doubled their advantage through Glenn Naylor, who made no mistake in slotting home from close range following Richard Hodgson's square ball.
Darlington are now 14th, 11 points clear of basement club Halifax and on this form, a top halve finish isn't out of the question.
