TV producers are looking for people who would like to receive a free makeover of their garden or on a room in their house as part of a new television programme.
Yorkshire-based independent production company NMTV is to begin filming Style File, for the BBC Digital channel UK Style, in which dozens of people will have their gardens or rooms transformed within a week.
The householders must be prepared to help out with the transformation. but in return Style File will provide a top designer and a budget.
Series producer Tracy Molloy said four makeovers would take place in a similar area over one week with the TV crew and presenters travelling between each one every day.
"We are looking for different sorts of people, from families to couples and single people, who would like a new look for their garden or a room in their home," she said.
"They must be prepared to muck in and get involved and, while there will be lots of hard work, it should all be a lot of fun as well."
Anyone interested in getting involved is asked to send a non-returnable home video of the garden or room or lots of photos of the garden or room, along with a photograph of themselves and a short letter explaining why they think they should be picked.
They should be sent, with name, address and a daytime telephone number, to: Room Makeover, NMTV, 192 Huntington Road, York, Y031 9BW.
