TWO former school friends are searching for their classmates - 50 years after starting their education in Darlington.
Rosalind Lewis and Susan Little started at Arthur Pease Infant School, in Vane Terrace, in Easter 1951, and returned to the town to celebrate the anniversary.
They hope some of the other children in this class picture, taken at some time in the early 1950s, will get in touch.
Some of the names they recall are June Varley, David Eynon, Diana Blackett and Andrew Geldard, who now has a veterinary practice in Stanhope Road.
Rosalind, who is a journalist for the Wall Street Journal, based in London, said: "It would be nice to get in touch.
"Because it is 50 years this Easter, we thought it somehow appropriate."
Susan lives in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
To get in touch, telephone Rosalind on 0208-748 2731, or Susan on (01751) 473010.
