A YOUTH theatre group will be celebrating its 15th anniversary by putting on a show in just 36 hours.
Durham Youth Musical Theatre plans to rehearse and perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this weekend.
Auditions will start at 9am on Friday and the curtain will go up at 7.30pm the following day.
The group, which is made up of people under 25, often rehearses over a short period, but Saturday's show is the most ambitious yet.
David Galloway, co-producer, said: "It is going to be hard but it is nothing we have not done before - even if we have had a bit more time.
"Everyone knows the words to Joseph anyway, and we have a fantastic crew, so we are fairly confident."
Both the auditions and the performance will take place at Durham Johnston Comprehensive School.
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £4.
