The league's singles championship qualifying matches to reach the semi-finals were held at four venues with the winner from each moving through to play on Finals Night at the Victoria Club on Monday, May 14.
In the play-off at Willington Lion and Unicorn, Kenny Plumpton of Oakenshaw Club beat Phil Blyth of the Prospect Club. At Willington Commercial's play-off Colin Troman of the Willington Black Horse Tavern beat Joe Bone of Willington Cottles.
In the play-off at Hunwick Quarry Burn, Peter Taylor of the Willington Black Horse Tavern beat Barry Moffat of Hunwick Joiners Arms. In the Hunwick Joiners Arms play-off Julie Hall of the Victoria Club beat David Lawrence of Willington Black Horse Tavern.
