MAY Bank Holiday fun will be on offer at the Darlington Railway Centre and Museum next month.
With reduced entry fees and many people avoiding the country because of the foot-and-mouth crisis, the museum is hoping for a bumper weekend for its Spring Fair and Teddy Bears Days.
These will take place on Sunday and Monday, May 6 and 7, from 11am to 4pm. There will be various stalls including pottery, gardening, sugar craft, cakes and preserves.
Entry will cost £1 per adult and 50p per child over five. Those under five can get in free of charge, as can children accompanied by a teddy bear.
