ONE-MONTH-OLD Georgia Postgate recently took centre stage when she performed the opening ceremony for a special extension to St Joseph's RC Primary School at Rosecroft Lane, Loftus.
Helped by mum, Debra, Georgia cut the ribbon which started an afternoon of fun and games. An exhibition of art work by the children was also unveiled.
Talking about the new room - set up thanks to the Sure Start East Cleveland Partnership - Sure Start manager Julie Conner said: "It will make a big difference. What goes on in it will be up to the parents themselves. The room could be used as a base for parenting courses, maybe a mother and baby group. We're open to suggestions."
