REGULARS at a Richmond pub have been captured on canvas after the landlady commissioned a painting of her best customers.
Ms Tabi Lee, who took over the Unicorn pub in Newbiggin four-and-a-half years ago, had several paintings of the outside of the building but none of the interior.
She had known local artist and pub customer Mrs Kath Parsons since arriving in the town and commissioned her to carry out the work.
Mrs Parsons took photographs and made sketches of the regular clientele and featured caricatures of nine of them, along with Ms Lee, in her work.
"I enjoy all my work but especially loved doing this one because it was people I knew," said Mrs Parsons.
"I would love to do more caricatures of regular customers at other pubs and cafes in the area."
Ms Lee was delighted with the painting, which hangs upstairs in her living quarters at the pub. "The painting was done for me personally, and we haven't enough wall space to hang it in the bar," she said.
l Mrs Parsons can be contacted on 01748 833021. Some of her work is exhibited at Gallerina, in Duke Street, Darlington, at the moment.
