Willington Ladies League
Willington Club completed the double when they landed both the darts and dominoes titles in the last match of the season.
In the darts section they beat the visiting second placed team, the Prospect Club to take the title by six points. In the dominoes section they went down by the odd point to the Prospect but still took the title by 12 points.
The Prospect Club take the runners-up spot in the darts section but there will be a complicated play-off for the trophies in the dominoes section as Willington Market blew their chance by only taking one point from their visit to Hunwick Quarry Burn B.

Crook Town Cup
Ithe first round Crook Travellers Rest B were stretched before they came through to win by two points at Crook Mill House. In the pool section the Mill had wins from Ian Bibby and Steven Heyes, whilst the Travellers replied with points from David Haygarth, John Mason, Lee Taylor and Jimmy Singlewood. This two points cushion was enough to see the Travellers to victory after they had shared the dominoes points when Norman Slack, Brian Harrison and John Hutchinson won for the Mill with Bill Fairhurst, Lee Taylor and David Haygarth winning for the visitors.

CIU Knock Out Cup
THERE was a shock in the quarter-finals when Cockton Hill pulled off a good home win over Ferryhill by three points. In the tightest match of the round the Prospect Club left it to the final points before they edged through at Crowtrees.
The other two matches produced more comfortable wins from the home teams as Crook Belle Vue beat the visiting Chilton by eight points and Byers Green saw off the visiting Victoria Club by seven points. The semi-finals will not be played until Tuesday, September 11 with the draw being made at a future meeting of the League.
Kensington Cup
HUNWICK Quarry Burn's pool players excelled themselves and managed to take the team through to the semi-finals with a very good win at Howden Australian A. Only Jimmy Bainbridge managed to take a pool point for the home side, while Kenny Smith, Colin Edmundson, Leanne Cunningham, Dave Robson and Andy McClurg won for the visitors. The Aussie stayed in the game with dominoes wins from Jonathan Hodgson, Jimmy Bainbridge, Stephen Ferris and Mark Richardson while David Robson took the visitors lone point. Hunwick Quarry Burn completed their victory by taking the first two pool doubles. Things were very tight at Willington Black Horse Tavern where the home side went down by the odd point at both pool and dominoes to the visiting Howden Australian B. Craig Eales, Andrew Featherstone and Dean Coates took pool singles points for the home side with Steven Young, Michael Burke and Andrew Smith replying. At dominoes Andrew Irwin and David Hawkins took pool points for the Horse with Michael Burke, Stephen Young and Paul Davidson replying. The Aussie went through when they took the last two pool doubles points.
