A DECISION to allow a newly-refurbished Darlington pub to extend its opening hours has been put on hold by councillors.
Flares, formerly the Filibuster and Firkin, in Skinnergate, applied to Darlington Borough Council to open until 2am, from Wednesday to Sunday.
Police and neighbours objected, saying it could cause more trouble in "Bar Alley"
