A GLIMPSE of shopping habits in Stockton is on display in venues across the town centre.
The exhibition, Proof of Purchase, forms part of Stockton's first Glimpse visual arts festival. It is a trail of artwork, made up of till receipts supplied to artist Jane Gower.
The till receipts appear at seven premises in the town centre, emerging in different formats, from menus to window displays. Linda Innes, arts development officer for Stockton Borough Council, said: "How someone shops and what they choose to buy can reveal a lot about them.
"This art provides an insight into the shopping fraternity of Stockton."
The till receipts are on show in Iceland, Natwest Bank, Shelter, Littlewoods, Superdrug, Arc and Silverside takeaway, until Friday.
