A VISUAL arts experience is being planned for Stockton next month.
The work, called 12 hours, is being put on by artists Dave Allinson and Michelle Tripp.
It will involve simultaneous light, video and slide projections and installations at three venues in Stockton town centre on Thursday, May 24.
It is the culmination of a five-month artists' residency, coordinated by Stockton Borough Council's Arts Service and involving Stockton Parish Church and Arc, to celebrate the Year of the Artist.
The three venues for the sight-and-sound spectacular, which explores the theme of time, are Stockton Parish Church, which will be filled with flowers floating in the air, glowing gently as darkness falls, the Arc arts centre, and Holy Trinity Church, the bells of which will toll every hour for 12 hours.
